Classic Chimp Champ

 

There are people and there are people; my older colleague once said while we were all venting “take them as examples of someone or a leaders you do not want to be”. I have been going through quite a bit within the work space for many years I must say and in the true sense if I were to write a book in office politics; I may not do well but am sure to explain some key political tips or things I see in actual display. Truth is except am trying to drive home a point about work, feel comfortable talking and expressing myself with the “crew”; I do more expression writing and in recent times, I have written less and less in recent times and what current event? I thought I pick it up again. Why did I pick it up again? I realize I need an outlet for crazy experiences about people who act like Chimp Champ.

Oh let’s get to how the name Chimp Champ came about. There are people, some of us may assign the tag idiots, who feel they are naturally smarter than others because in their ignoramus heads. Truth is they are swimming in the syndrome of Chimp Champ. I was venting bitterly over some experiences and a good friend of mine said….they are Chimp Champ. What are attributes of Chimp Champ? Manipulative, Cocky, Close-Minded, Must dominate all discussions, etc.

Today am venting or sharing about someone I find quite interesting, dwells in their own world and with every conversation must ensure they stay on top even if it is the most unlinked and unnecessary phrase or word needed. I find it hard to believe that we have to deal with folks like this on a daily basis, be it at work or at home. I mean at home, you can just avoid the a** but at work? It takes the Grace of God to deal with their everyday every hour cockiness and silly remarks in your face all day long. Can I give you a tip? Ignore Ignore Ignore. In their heads, they think they are showing you they are the boss but you know, am sure you know and may have said it few times….they are a classic examples of Chimp Champ.
